Community Connect Gardening

Our Community Connect Gardening program assists residents in the Warringah, Manly and Pittwater areas who are frail aged or people with a disability and their carers by providing an affordable gardening service as well as advice on how to plan a low maintenance easy care garden. This program is funded by NSW Department of Human Services, Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) through the Home and Community Care (HACC) program.

Under the supervision of our qualified horticulturalist and his professional staff, over 105 trained and dedicated volunteers work in teams of between 2 to 20 throughout our 6 day week to create more manageable and safer garden environments to help our clients remain in their own homes.

As seen on the Womens Weekly Easter TV special

Our team of volunteers were asked by the famous landscape designer and TV personality Jamie Durie to help with the make - over of the gardens at the Cromer Community Centre.
The Volunteers said- It was a great experience for all the volunteers involved. We loved rubbing shoulders with Jamie Durie and Nigel Ruck and had a lot of fun building the vertical garden wall.
